Ocean Policy Advisory Council Member Recruitment - Open until filled!
The Ocean Policy Advisory Council (OPAC) in partnership with the Office of the Governor, is seeking qualified applicants to serve on the Council in the open positions listed below:
- North Coast Commercial Fishing Interest
- North Coast Charter, Sport, and Recreational Fishing Interest
- A member of the governing body of Clatsop, Lincoln or Tillamook County to be appointed by the Governor, chosen in consultation with and with the approval of a majority of the members of the governing bodies of Clatsop, Lincoln and Tillamook Counties;
Application Close Date - Open until filled (The positions are open until filled, the applications will be considered in coordination with the Senate Rules Committee).
Interested individuals may apply to the Office of Executive Appointments via an online submission. Applicants must complete a basic application that tells the Governor’s Office about you, your background and why you want to participate on a Governor-appointed Board or Commission. You will need to include your resume, a short personal biography, and answers to supplemental questions. The Council is asking all applicants to submit their electronic applications by the end of January 2023 for consideration during the upcoming legislative session.
