Key Resources
Marine organisms found in Brookings MRA and Harris Beach MG are offshore kelp beds, surfgrass, various intertidal algae species, sea snails, anemones, several types of barnacles, tidepool sculpins, mussels, and sea birds like, cormorants, great blue herons, gulls, and more. Goat Island is visible from Brookings Marine Research Area; the offshore island is home to seabird colonies and pinniped haul outs.

Regulations
No take of shellfish and other invertebrates except for clams, Dungeness crab, red rock crab, mussels, piddocks, scallops, and shrimp may be taken.
