OPAC Meetings
The governor-appointed Ocean Policy Advisory Council works with the public to make recommendations on issues of ocean policy ranging from ocean-based energy generation plans to developing marine reserves in the territorial sea. The council's Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) is chaired by the Sea Grant director serves and under OPAC rules serves as a member of the Council's Executive Board.

The Ocean Policy Advisory Council (OPAC) Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) Offshore Wind Economics and Social Science Work Group will have a joint meeting on August 7th, 2025, from 12:30pm-2:00pm on Zoom.
