OPAC Meetings
The governor-appointed Ocean Policy Advisory Council works with the public to make recommendations on issues of ocean policy ranging from ocean-based energy generation plans to developing marine reserves in the territorial sea. The council's Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) is chaired by the Sea Grant director serves and under OPAC rules serves as a member of the Council's Executive Board.

The Ocean Policy Advisory Council hosted a virtual meeting on September 8th, 2023.
The Ocean Policy Advisory Council met on May 23, 2023. The meeting had both in-person and remote participation options. The in-person meeting space was at the Oregon Department of State Lands Building in Salem, at 775 Summer St. NE, Suite 100, Salem, OR.

STAC is not required to include public comment as part of their meetings, however all meetings of the STAC shall be available and accessible to the public to attend.
