OPAC Meetings
The governor-appointed Ocean Policy Advisory Council works with the public to make recommendations on issues of ocean policy ranging from ocean-based energy generation plans to developing marine reserves in the territorial sea. The council's Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) is chaired by the Sea Grant director serves and under OPAC rules serves as a member of the Council's Executive Board.

The Ocean Policy Advisory Council (OPAC) met virtually on December 11, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.
The Ocean Policy Advisory Council met virtually on June 14, 2024, for the purpose of discussing the topic of offshore wind energy.
The Council hosted a virtual meeting on April 22, 2024, to discuss offshore wind energy planning and Rocky Habitat Management.
The Ocean Policy Advisory Council hosted a virtual meeting on September 8th, 2023.

STAC is not required to include public comment as part of their meetings, however all meetings of the STAC shall be available and accessible to the public to attend.
