North Coast Rocky Habitats Workshop
The Oregon Coastal Management Program is hosting a public workshop series to develop site management plans for rocky habitats that were designated in 2023. On August 26th, 2025, the workshop will focus on learning about plans for two protected rocky habitats on the north coast: Ecola Point Marine Conservation Area and Chapman Point Marine Garden.
The plans will support communities in Cannon Beach to study and protect vital rocky habitats. Participants will discuss implementation actions and strategies for building capacity in communities, Tribes, and government agencies who are working to implement rocky habitat management strategies.
